The TreeTop Challenge Sunshine Coast is an outdoor high ropes adventure park located beside the iconic Big Pineapple. Spanning 10 acres of lush rainforest, it offers an exhilarating experience combining physical challenges, personal growth, and breathtaking natural surroundings.

The adventure features 8 high ropes courses with varying levels of difficulty, including:

  • Green Courses: Beginner-friendly, great for building confidence and suitable for the whole family (ages 8+).
  • Black Courses: The most intense and challenging circuits in Australia, designed for thrill-seekers aged 14+.
 
Participants navigate obstacles such as shaking bridges, giant ziplines, ninja-style games, and elevated platforms, all while securely harnessed with a state-of-the-art smart belay system.
 

This self-paced activity is perfect for those looking to step out of their comfort zones, conquer fears, and create unforgettable memories. With approximately 3 hours to complete all circuits, it’s a fun-filled day of exploration and adventure in one of the Sunshine Coast’s most iconic locations.

Set in 10 Acres of Rainforest: Experience adventure in lush surroundings, reminiscent of Far North Queensland’s Daintree.

Self-Paced Adventure: Complete 8 circuits at your own speed, ranging from beginner-friendly to extreme challenges.

Courses for All Levels:

Green Courses: Easy and family-friendly, perfect for ages 8+, with a focus on fun and confidence-building.
Black Courses: The highest and most intense in Australia, designed for ages 14+ and those who meet the height requirement (able to reach 180cm with arms extended).
Safety First: Equipped with state-of-the-art smart belay systems, ensuring you’re always securely attached to the wires.

Accessible Fun: Located beside the iconic Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast. Snap a selfie with the 16-meter heritage-listed landmark before starting your adventure.

Fitness Needed: While abs aren’t necessary, some physical strength is required for climbing and navigating the courses.

Duration: Each circuit takes about 30-45 minutes, with the full experience lasting approximately 3 hours.

Our Sunshine Coast Adventure Park stretch through 8 acres of incredible rainforest right next to the iconic Big Pineapple structure. After you’ve tackled all five courses within adrenaline-pumping challenge, take a selfie with or climb up inside the heritage-listed fibreglass fruit and explore the other attractions also located, such as Wildlife HQ and the Montville Coffee Cafe.

Safety Equipment

All safety equipment (Helmet, harness and gloves) is supplied and participants are fully instructed on its usage before beginning the course. 

Qualified supervisors are present throughout to guide adventurers and ensure their safety at all times. 

All you need to bring are closed-in shoes and a daredevil attitude!

What are the minimum requirements?

We have 2 minimum Requirements:

  1. You need to be at least 7 years old.
  2. You need to be to reach 160cm with the palms of your hand stretched above your head.

Height Requirements

The Tree Top Challenge adventure park high ropes courses have been designed for children and adults alike for family fun, fitness and team building.

Participants must be able to reach 160cm at the palm of their hand to enter. To measure yourself or a child, stand with flat feet on the ground and raise arms above head with hands outstretched.

Measure from the ground to the middle of the palm of the hand. To continue to the advanced Black Course, particiants must be able to reach 180cm.

  • You must reach a minium of 160cm to the palm of your hard to attempt our easy and medium courses.
  • Don’t worry if you cannot reach, we have a juniors park as well!

Whats the maximum weight?

The maximum weight we allow is 120kg.

How big is the harness?

Our harnesses have a diameter of 110cm

 

Cancelation Policy

Changes to the date or time of your booking must be received 24 hours prior to your experience. 

All changes are subject to availability.

To Re-schedule or cancel your booking within 24hrs, a $10 re-schedule fee will apply.

Session Times

Weekends & QLD holiday periods

Our adventure Park opens at 9am and closes at 5:00pm.

Our courses close 20 minutes to 45 minutes before the close of day to ensure guests safely complete all activities before the close of day.

On weekends, we recommend 3 to 4hrs to complete our adventure park. If you wish to attempt all our courses, we recommend you book our earlier session times to avoid any disappointment.

Session Times – Mid-Week

Our adventure Park opens at 9am and closes at 5:00pm with session times 10am and 1:30pm. Each session goes for 3hrs and is plenty of time to complete all the activities.

Harnessing Induction

Harnessing and induction takes 30 minutes to complete.

It’s important you arrive 15 minutes before your session time to sign in and be ready to begin.

If you arrive later than your session time, you might be asked to join a later session as we cannot induct you mid-way through an induction.

Your safety is our priority.

If we cancel the experience for any reason, you will be eligible for a full refund, but please be aware this may not include non-refundable third party booking fees.
